If you’ve got this far, there is clearly something you want to be kept up to date on.
TLDR: I write thoughts on areas where music & gaming meet, with a focus on generating original ideas of how things could be done differently, in my opinion.
There is something that is fascinating between this growing space between these industries, and the more authentic and deep approach to understanding how to navigate it would be a welcome addition to your inbox.
First and foremost, the views I share here are purely my own and do not reflect those of my employment. This blog is born from my passion and is entirely independent from my professional role. This Substack is a platform for exploration and discussion, not an official voice for any company. I’m committed to respecting confidentiality and ensuring my content remains separate from my work, so if you’re here to see behind the scene’s, I’m afraid you won’t find that here. Here’s to creating a community where we can freely share and discuss our love for music and gaming, without crossing any professional boundaries. Your support and engagement mean a lot me, and I’m thrilled to have you on this journey.
Back to the usual - Look, I get it - As per my first ever post, I know my way around music rights, but I’m a sole consumer when it comes to the gaming industry. If anything that’s a real gift as I get to see the industries communicate and grow as both a consumer and a partner. I’ve predicted a fair few trends ahead of the curve including music in Fortnite back in 2017 as well as specific label partnerships ahead of their release. A year into it, I want to thank everyone so far for all their curiosity and questions along the way. I feel that I’ve made a fair few friends now, and looking forward to seeing what comes from some big changes in 2025.
If you’re as curious as I am, I’d hope you enjoy some of my theories enclosed. Thanks for your support <3
